Comfort Food with a Dutch/Indonesian Twist
de Quay is the realization of a dream for Chef/Owner David de Quay. This dream extends back to David’s early childhood wishes to become a Chef, and wonderful memories of his first taste of Dutch cooking from Oma’s garden, and her kitchen in Holland. Throughout his career, the idea of opening his own unique restaurant remained in the background, until the opportunity to do so finally came to fruition.
He is pleased to see the dream realized in the creation of de Quay Restaurant, an extension of his Dutch family heritage, and the melding of the long history between the Netherlands and Indonesia. His goal is to introduce a unique concept which integrates the two cuisines in a contemporary, understandable, flavor- focused way. The foundations of this dream are a comfortable and pleasurable guest dining experience, an excellent beverage program created to pair with the seasonal menu, friendly, attentive service, and casually elegant, warm surroundings.
A Unique Casual Dining Experience
At de Quay, our standards and expectations exceed anything you may have experienced in the past. Every day we work side by side to achieve consistently superb standards of food, service and ambiance. We will continually strive to achieve excellence within in the context of a relaxed and approachable setting. Each and every day as we greet our guests, it is you that make the difference. It will be the community that we create at de Quay that makes it an incredible place to dine.
